Journal Use and Update
Just as a brief update, I am nearing the end of my first Masters program and my second one is progressing very well. Not surprisingly, my area of expertise has increasingly focused on 19th and early 20th century history, especially in the area of technology and cultural environment (the influences of which are probably apparent in both my writing and my commentary on certain quasi-historical science-fiction genres that have become increasingly popular in recent years).

The One Year Anniversary issue of The Willows is almost out, and is available for pre-order at the moment. My serial, "The Strange Case of the All-Seeing Ear," is progressing very well, and I'm quite happy with how things are working out. Frankly, it's an honor to be published by them as the magazine is already becoming the "new big thing" in the vintage world (and for good reason too).

Given that my academic and literary careers are progressing like this (much faster than I'd planned for, I must confess), I am going to try and use my "professional journal" more in the coming months. I still intend to keep this one here, and to use it, but I'm going to make an attempt at using [info]gdfalksen more consistently. Anyone interested in keeping track of me and my work, if you haven't added [info]gdfalksen yet, feel free to do so. I may be slow on adding back, but please be patient.

For the time being that's all. I'm in the processes of developing an outline for my second thesis for when I need to start worrying about it. All in all, life is stressful but good.
